Food-Friendly Ducting

The TPU-SD duct with steel wire helix — from Novaflex (Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada) — is now manufactured using raw materials to meet FDA requirements for food contact applications when used in accordance with the limitations of 21 CFR: 175.105 and 177.2600a. The specially-formulated grade of urethane also maintains the TPU-SD duct’s ability for permanent protection against electrostatic discharge.

  • A molecular-bonded construction that generates less turbulence, allowing for maximum flow efficiency.
  • Excellent flexibility even in tight bends, as well as maximum abrasion resistance, superior tear resistance, and high tensile strength.
  • A working temperature range of -65°F to 200°F.
