The Solar Power Revolution

NewAge Industries (Southampton, PA) has recently completed the installation of a one megawatt (MW) rooftop solar panel system, and the system is now supplying half of the manufacturer’s energy needs. According to NewAge, the project was financed in part by a $1 million solar energy grant from Pennsylvania, plus additional federal incentives.

NewAge Industries (Southampton, PA) has recently completed the installation of a one megawatt (MW) rooftop solar panel system, and the system is now supplying half of the manufacturer’s energy needs. According to NewAge, the project was financed in part by a $1 million solar energy grant from Pennsylvania, plus additional federal incentives. The 4,000 solar panels were made in the U.S. by SolarWorld USA of Hillsboro, OR, and installed by California-based Borrego Solar Systems Inc.
