MovinCool (Long Beach, CA) announces its new CMW30 water-cooled, ceiling-mount air conditioner. The CMW30 is designed for server rooms and other applications with dense heat loads, and where other models cannot be used due to space constraints. The unit’s cooling capacity is rated at 29,400 Btu/h and 22,000 Btu/h for computer rooms. A built-in mounting bracket, flanges, and vibration isolators allow low-cost installation using standard hardware. The CMW30 features a high integrated-energy-efficiency ratio of 17.0; it uses a variable-speed inverter compressor and inverter fan motors. It also uses R-410A refrigerant.
