Bionomic Industries, Inc. has announced of their new RotaBed patented “Fluidized Bed” Scrubber for use in acid, gas, and particulate scrubbing in a wide range of process industries. The scrubber's swirl induced Coriolis grid is designed to efficiently mix gas capacities from 500 through 250,000 acfm and a two stage chevron mist eliminator ensures complete droplet removal from the gas exiting the scrubber. The scrubber’s turbulent, “packless”, highly plug resistant mass transfer bed is up to 99% open in the fluid contact scrubbing zone and delivers over 99% gas absorption and particulate collection in most applications. The scrubber is available in mild steel, 304, 316 and AL6XN stainless steels, high nickel alloys, titanium FRP, FRP-dual laminate and porlypropylene.
