New Roof Hatch Railing System With A Universal Fit

The new KeeHatch roof hatch railing system from Kee Safety, Inc. is designed to fit all standard models offered by the manufacturers of roof hatches, and can be installed by one person in less than 30 minutes.

The new KeeHatch roof hatch railing system from Kee Safety, Inc. (Buffalo, NY) is designed to fit all standard models offered by the manufacturers of roof hatches (e.g. Bilco, Babcock Davis, Nystrom, etc.), and can be installed by one person in less than 30 minutes. It uses fewer parts during assembly, as well as pre-built uprights and drop-in fittings to install the horizontal rails with ease. The system can be used for safe egress and ingress through roof hatches, and fall protection when a hatch is open. The railings affix to the hatch without penetrating the roof itself.

Other features include:

  • A construction of high-grade Aluminum Silicon Magnesium Alloy for a combination of strength and corrosion resistance.
  • Compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.23, which requires that exposed sides of openings in roofs or floors have guardrail protection, and compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.27, which enforces the ability to handle a load of 200 pounds.
  • Seven available standard models to fit the full range of roof hatches.
