Kee Safety, Inc. introduces its new Kee Walk, a slip-resistant walkway for workers accessing a roof during construction or maintenance. It provides a clear demarcation route which protects the roof from damage and uniformly distributes the load across its surface. The system can be adjusted on-site and accommodates flat, barrel or sloping roofs, with steps and a traverse option allowing access to be created for roof configurations from 0 to 35 degrees.
Kee Walk systems are assembled using lightweight aluminum bearer bars and high-grade nylon treads that feature a raised, rough surface for slip resistance in adverse weather conditions with open treads for fast drainage of water.
Pre-assembled step configurations in 3-1/2-ft., 4-1/2-ft., 5-ft. and 10-ft. lengths require only slight on-site positioning and alignment. The standard steps are joined together with a 4-inch straight connector which attaches to the bearing bars. The walkways/traverse configurations and free-standing modules are available in 5-ft. and 10-ft. lengths.
