An electronic road sign in a small Michigan township was sold for a hefty $600 earlier this week. But this wasn't just any sign, as it advised passersby to "drink more beer."
An auction company, 1Bid.us, has had the the sign on its Frankenlust Township property for nearly a week, when more than 100 people stopped to take a photograph with the sign. A few people, though, called the company to complain about the sign's message.
Co-owner Curtis Pennell said the sign was sold earlier this week and he believes the new owner will be using it for advertising purposes.
