The Japanese company that owns the intellectual property rights to the infamous Godzilla series of movies is suing a New Orleans brewing company over alleged copyright infrigement. Toho Co. Ltd. alleges in the lawsuit that NOLA Brewing's MechaHopzilla beer infringes on its Mechagodzilla character, saying,

"The Mechagodzilla character is Godzilla's mechanical 'doppelganger,' a large two-footed reptilian creature with a powerful swooping tail and a robot-like appearance."
