In the wake of a botulism scare in China caused by milk originiating from New Zealand dairy giant Fonterra, New Zealand is scrambling to restore faith in the Asian country, one of the largest foreign markets for dairy products. In an attempt to reassure Chinese consumers, New Zealand's Foreign Minister, Murray McCully, said,
"I believe that New Zealand's unambiguous commitment to meeting quality standards in the export of food has been appropriately underlined."
