Texas Farm ended its suit against Iowa with both parties agreeing to concessions. The corporate farm has agreed to make room for the rights of local farmers as long as Iowa agrees not to enforce its law prohibiting meat processors from owning livestock. The company's spokesperson said in a statement,

"We at Texas Farm, like other pork producers who have entered in decrees with the state of Iowa, are pleased that we were able to come to an acceptable resolution with the state."
