BRASELTON, Ga. (AP) -- Federal officials have issued safety citations at a manufacturing plant in northern Georgia.
Department of Labor officials announced Thursday that they've issued seven safety and health violations to a Dayton Superior Corp. plant in Braselton. Officials propose that the company pay $80,025 in fines. The company produces industrial concrete accessories and paving products.
Labor officials say the company failed to provide certain equipment safety mechanisms. Officials say the company was cited for similar violations in 2011.
The company has 15 days to contest the department's findings and a call to the company was not immediately returned.
