Dow Izolan Inaugurates its State-of-the-Art Polyurethane Systems Manufacturing Plant in Vladimir, Russia
Dow Izolan, the joint venture company formed in 2006 between The Dow Chemical Company (Dow) and Izolan, officially inaugurated its new state-of-the-art polyurethane (PU) systems manufacturing facility in Vladimir, Russia, on Dec. 11, 2009. ร The facility will produce a broad range of rigid and flexible foam PU systems for a variety of applications including construction, automotive, consumer, footwear, furniture and appliance. The output from the new plant will further enhance Dow Izolanรข??s offering and delivery terms to its customers in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

The construction and start-up of the plant coincides with the 35th anniversary of Dowรข??s continued business presence in Russia.
