Iowa State Bestows Honors on DuPont Alum

Iowa State University's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences recently presented awards at the annual Iowa State University Alumni Association Honors and Awards ceremony.

Jim Borel, DuPont executive vice president, received the Floyd Andre Award, which recognizes alums who have made outstanding contributions to production agriculture, agricultural business or who have significantly influenced Iowa agriculture.

Jim graduated from Iowa State in 1978 in agricultural business. Following graduation, he started his career at DuPont as a sales representative in Ohio. He has held a number of product and sales management positions in DuPont's agricultural businesses, including positions in England, Canada and Japan. Jim currently has responsibility for DuPont's production agriculture businesses, which includes DuPont Crop Protection and Pioneer Hi-Bred.
