For the third year in a row, DuPont has been recognized by Você S.A./Exame magazine as “One of the Best Companies to Work for in Brazil.” This time, however, there was more reason to celebrate, since DuPont, for the first time, made the Top 10 ranking.
Ricardo Vellutini, president – DuPont Brazil; Ana Cristina Piovan, Human Resources director for Brazil; and other DuPont leaders received the award during an event attended by more than 1,000 people.
“This is a very significant achievement that did not happen by accident,” Ricardo said. “It is the result of the hard work of 2,584 people who are committed to creating and sustaining an environment of respect and trust and, as consequence, deliver extraordinary results.”
Ana Cristina added, “The magazine formally recognized the high level of awareness and support of our employees to DuPont's core values, even during the global recession. More than ever, we feel proud to say, ‘I belong to DuPont, one of the 10 best companies to work for in Brazil.’”

To celebrate the achievement, simultaneous town hall meetings were held at all DuPont sites in Brazil: Alphaville, Guarulhos, Camaçari, Barra Mansa and Paulínia, as well as at all Pioneer locations.
“Since in Brazil, DuPont business Pioneer Hi-Bred is part of the same legal entity. Its employees also had the opportunity to answer the survey and be heard,” Richardo said.
“I congratulate all of you on this achievement,” said Eduardo Wanick, president – DuPont Latin America, during the celebration in Alphaville. “I am very proud of this organization and see no reason why we cannot soon be considered the best company to work for in Brazil.”
Eduardo also noted that DuPont now holds prominent places in “Best Companies to Work” rankings in these countries in the Latin America region:
