CANTON, Miss. (AP) -- Nissan's commercial van will be added to the production line produced at the company's plant in Canton, Miss., next year.
Nissan made the announcement Tuesday. The four-row 12-passenger commercial van will feature a center console and mobile office.
Nissan says the vehicle should be available in the spring of 2012.
Nissan spokesman Brian Brockman says Nissan envisions it will be utilized for airport and hotel shuttles, school transportation or local tourism.
The Canton plant builds the Altima, Armada, Titan and NV. The plant is scheduled to add production of the Frontier pickup and Xterra SUV in the second half of 2012.
