Human Rights Campaign Recognizes DuPont

DuPont has been recognized by the Human Rights Campaign as one of the best places to work for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) employees.  DuPont earned a 100% rating on the Human Rights Campaign’s annual Corporate Equality Index.

The recognition was based on several factors, including the company’s non-discrimination policies, domestic partner benefits and active BGLAD network (Bisexuals, Gays, Lesbians, Transgendered and  Allies at DuPont).

“DuPont is proud to be recognized by the Human Rights Campaign as being rated a ‘Best Place to Work’ through this year's Corporate Equality Index,” said Deb Alesantrino human resources director of the U.S. Region.  “Respect for all people is a core value at DuPont and a cornerstone of how we succeed.

“We share the Human Rights Campaign’s belief that an environment of equality and inclusiveness is essential so that employees may contribute to their fullest,” Deb said.  “It is an honor to have our efforts recognized.”
