MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Medical device maker Medtronic Inc. said Monday it will consolidate into two operating groups to support its "One Medtronic" initiative.
One group will combine the company's cardiac rhythm disease management, cardiovascular and physio-control businesses. The company is currently searching for a group leader.
Another group will combine the spinal and biologics, neuromodulation, diabetes, and surgical technologies businesses, headed by Chris O'Connell. He is the former president of the diabetes business.
