OLEAN, N.Y. (AP) -- An energy technology manufacturing company plans to build a new headquarters and research and development facility at its western New York operations, adding more than 100 jobs.
The Empire State Development Corp. on Wednesday approved a $2 million grant for the $14 million project at Houston-based Dresser-Rand's facility in Olean, 60 miles south of Buffalo.
Company officials say 120 jobs will be added in Olean, where Dresser-Rand already employs around 550. The company has about 1,800 employees at other locations in the Southern Tier.
Dresser-Rand supplies energy conversion technology to clients in the oil and petrochemical industries.
