Swedish Furniture Plant Bringing 150 Jobs To Tenn.

BJS North America East is building a new plant in Dandridge, Tenn., that is expected to be finished in spring of 2009 and will eventually employ 150 people.

DANDRIDGE, Tenn. (AP) -- A Swedish furniture manufacturing company has broken ground on a new plant in Jefferson County that will eventually employ 150 people.

The 95,000-square-foot BJS North America East plant will be located in the Dandridge Industrial Park. Officials hope to have the building finished in spring of 2009.

The company specializes in making bedroom accessories.
