SOUTH HUTCHINSON, Kan. (AP) — Collins Industries Inc. said it will move a bus manufacturing operation to South Hutchinson from Bluffton, Ohio, this fall, bringing with it 100 new jobs and $2 million in new investment to Reno County.
The company's Mid Bus Inc. product line will join the company's existing bus manufacturing division in South Hutchinson in November, going into full operation by 2008, company officials said Tuesday.
Collins Industries was acquired last year by private investors and now is a subsidiary of BNS Holding Inc.
