USA Today reported that some fast food restaurants, including Sonic and Burger King, are now offering beer and wine at some of their locations. Starbucks also recently began selling alcohol at some of its Seattle cafes. While the efforts are aimed at boosting sales, some aren’t so happy with the idea. Some watchdog groups are concerned that offering alcohol at fast food places may send children and teens the wrong message; they also fear that the offerings may lead to more drunk driving incidents.
