The work week has (almost) officially come to an end, or at least for those 9-5 Monday through Friday workers like myself. While most Fridays I am jumping out of bed with joy, knowing the weekend is right around the corner, this morning was much different.
I awoke to my injured cat yelling (yes, yelling) in pain as my younger, more playful cat pounced on her. I had hoped her mystery injury, which I had discovered after returning home from work last night, would work itself out overnight. That was not the case.
As anyone with fur babies will tell you, a pet is so much more than just an animal. Needless to say, my morning spent at the veterinarian's office was not a very pleasant one. So, if you've had a particularly rough day (or entire week), I get it. I feel you.
For just a few minutes, I want you to forget about work. Let's laugh the stress and struggles away with this week's Friday Food Funnies, shall we?
