A Japanese company says it will expand its operation in South Carolina, adding more than 60 jobs.
The South Carolina Commerce Department said in a news release that Fujifilm Manufacturing USA Inc. plans to spend nearly $4 million to expand its operation in Greenwood. The company is expected to hire 67 more employees.
The company said the expansion will allow the assembly of electrical parts for inkjet printer heads for sister company Fujifilm Dimatrix.
Fuji has operated in Greenwood for 30 years and has five manufacturing plants in the county.
Hiring is expected to begin by the end of July or in August.
