This past week Toyota took the 2018 Consumer Electronics Show in Vegas by storm when they debuted their e-Palette concept vehicle.
And while itβs not surprising that an automaker is showing off a concept car at arguably the largest show of the year, whatβs noteworthy about the e-Palette is that itβs packed full of mobility trends that are driving the industry forward.
For example, features including autonomous driving, connectivity and electrification and shared mobility are all leveraged through Toyotaβs Global Mobility Services Platform via the eβPalette.
Marketed as a βmobile think-tank on wheels,β the e-Palette prototype examples at CES included everything from Uber and Amazon to Pizza Hut. The fully automated battery electronic vehicle can be adapted in both use and framework, and Toyota says it plans to manufacture the e-Palette into three different sizes.
