This helpful tool alerts personnel to a flooded lead-acid battery requiring water, explains the company. These batteries, found in lift trucks and other utility vehicles, last longer and perform better when correctly and routinely watered. The indicator monitors and displays the status of battery cell electrolyte levels with a solid green or blinking red light. The new light features a trimmable probe and does not require calibration. Unlike other indicators, the light measures electrolyte levels without a direct current being drawn from the cell. The sealed polypropylene lens protects the LED and electronics from impact and acid migration and the terminals are sealed to the wires to prevent corrosion.
