Technosoft (Neuchâtel, Switzerland) has announced the new iPOS3602 BX-CAN and iPOS3604 BX-CAN drives, which are equipped with a CAN interface to create a compact solution for the control of rotary or linear brushless, DC brush or step motors of powers up to 144 W. These servo drives offer single- or multiple-axis control functions, such as master-slave or standalone operations in a small package: 80 x 55 x 16 mm, and a weight of 70 grams. The iPOS3604 BX embeds a motion controller, drive and PLC into a single unit. In addition, these drives can operate as CiA402 CANopen drives, or be programmed to execute complex motion programs directly at drive level. System configuration is simple, according to the company, with its graphical program, EasyMotion Studio.
