SiliconExpert Technologies, the leading provider of electronic component management tools and solutions announces its largest data release yet, increasing the number of electronic components it carries, the number of engineers behind the data, and the number of total manufacturers captured in its Electronic Component Database.

With this latest data release, SiliconExpert Technologies increased  the number of components to over 300 million improving its already extensive Electronic Component Database. Not only has SiliconExpert increased the amount of components in its database but has also increased the breadth of its data offerings by adding attributes such as Country of Origin (COO) data. The newly revamped database has up to 50 parametric attributes per category for all electronic components ranging from semiconductors to passive electromechanical.  Components from over 15,000 manufacturers are parametrically searchable in a single database accessed by leading commercial and government OEMs, top-tier authorized distributors and contract manufacturers.

Reaching over 300 million components is a mile stone for SiliconExpert, but where SiliconExpert prides itself most is in managing the industry's leading electronic components database with focus and dedication. SiliconExpert's database is backed by a team of over 400 electronic engineers and domain experts that maintain direct oversight of the component database to ensure accuracy, reliability, and timely updates so customers can confidently choose components.

"It is imperative that our engineers stay on top of the latest changes in the electronics industry and it is only natural that our database continues to grow and develop as the industry moves forward" says Phil Boucher, Vice President of Worldwide Sales at SiliconExpert. "We have been working on this data release and are excited for the various OEMs, distributors, and contract manufacturers that will now be able to further benefit from our work."
