Regulated food and agriculture sector facilities, producers, processors and distributers of all sizes are expected to have voluntarily adopted and implemented a functional food defense plan by 2015, according to Jessica Pulz, the Director of the Food Defense Assessment Staff for the USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).
