MDR High Speed Electric Transfer And Diverter Modules

The HCAT90 Transfer is ideal for any application where a 90-degree right turn is needed, such as sortation, distribution or assembly. The HCAT30 Diverter provides a 30-degree angle to move packages and totes to a separate line.

The new MDR High Speed Electric Transfer (HCAT90) and Diverter (HCAT30) modules from Hilmot (Milwaukee, WI) give users added flexibility in configuring their packaging or tote-handling applications by allowing 90-degree right turns and 30-degree diversions to their motorized drive roller conveyor systems.

The HCAT90 Transfer is ideal for any application where a 90-degree right turn is needed, such as sortation, distribution or assembly. The HCAT30 Diverter provides a 30-degree angle to move packages and totes to a separate line. Both modules use three MDR conveyors to provide the rollers, belts and lifting motion.

A key feature in both the HCAT90 Transfer and HCAT30 Diverter modules is that they’re fully powered by 24 volt DC electricity for lower cost and quiet, efficient operation. This design element removes the need to run tubing and pneumatics from a compressor unit, through the conveyor system to the modules. No electric actuator or pneumatic cylinder is needed.

Additionally, both modules are engineered to handle higher rates (40 products per minute for the HCAT90; 50 products per minute for the HCAT30). The HCAT90 features a low profile frame for easy stacking of multi level conveyor lines, while the HCAT30 can be located virtually anywhere along the conveyor line, with multiple diverter modules being placed as few as 60 inches apart. Both modules can be added into existing MDR conveyor systems with minor modifications.
