ADVANCED INDUSTRIAL DEVICES ANNOUNCES REVOLUTIONARY
LEAD-LAG CONTROLLER FOR WATER INDUSTRY

(Tulsa, OK) – June 25, 2015 - Advanced Industrial Devices Company is pleased to announce the introduction of the MP3P-1A Controller to the market. The MP3P-1A can run one to three pumps in a dynamic alternating lead-lag control algorithm. It also monitors the health of all pumps in the system to allow intelligent decisions about what actions to take next. The target applications for the MP3P-1A are: water treatment, wastewater, irrigation, industrial water applications and food/beverage production.

Unlike other two or three pump alternating lead-lag controllers on the market that can only use floats or level sensors to do the job; the MP3P-1A can use floats, level sensors or both. The hallmark of the MP3P-1A is its ability to automatically take failed or unavailable pumps out of the operating system. This unique functionality allows the MP3P-1A to automatically skip pumps that are not able to run, switching the lead pump on the fly. When the failed pump is put back into service, the MP3P-1A will automatically add the pump back into its operating algorithm to seamlessly keep the pumping systems running at maximum capacity and efficiency.

“The MP3P-1A is a game changer. No other lead-lag controller on the market has the capabilities and functionality of ours,” said Keith Walker, AID chief controls engineer.
