NSF-Certified Food Grade Products

The B’laster Corporation recently announced the launch of a new line of NSF-certified food grade products.

The B’laster Corporation recently announced the launch of a new line of NSF-certified food grade products. The B’laster food grade line is launching with four products:

B’laster Food Grade Multi-Purpose Lubricant: A high-performance formula that lubricates moving parts in most food processing and handling applications, and prevents further rust and corrosion. Our multi-purpose lubricant is free from silicone.

B’laster Food Grade Conveyor Track & Cable Lubricant: Formulated with pressure additives for use on overhead doors and mechanisms, roller drives and conveyor equipment, this silicone-based lubricant offers long-lasting lubrication that leaves a tack-free film that won’t accumulate dust and dirt.

B’laster Food Grade Silicone Lubricant: Containing a high concentration of silicone, this lubricant eliminates wear from constant friction on most surfaces, and protects rubber and plastic parts, making it great for food processing and handling applications.

B’laster Food Grade White Spray Grease: A clean, low-odor white grease that protects against rust, moisture and oxidation. It’s safe for a wide range of applications, including food processing and handling.

“We’re excited to expand our portfolio in this way,” said George Ebert, Industrial Sales Manager. “Food manufacturers are under pressure to deliver for their customers and meet regulatory requirements. B’laster’s NSF-certified food grade line provides the high-quality formulas and superior performance that professionals have trusted since 1957.”

NSF International is an independent certification organization that inspects and tests products to verify compliance with its objective, third-party standards. All the products currently in B’laster’s food grade line comply with NSF’s H1 certification, meaning they are acceptable for incidental contact with food.

In addition, the B’laster cans are clearly labeled with the NSF logo and an H1 designation to assist food processing and handling workers in using the right can for the right job. This will help ensure compliance with the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), which went into effect in 2016.
