Sentry Equipment, a global provider of sampling and analysis technologies, announced its new Sentry IsoPure line of 3-A certified aseptic samplers that integrate into aseptic and hygienic production lines. Using an IsoPure sampler, quality control personnel can easily and safely sample liquids from closed systems such as food and beverage process lines and vessels while protecting the process and samples from the environment.

“The one-piece, dead space-free design provides hermetic sealing against the environment to eliminate process contamination via polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) bellows,” explained John Powalisz, Industry Manager, Sentry Equipment. “The low-adhesive, long-life PTFE bellows provides a one-piece seal that’s resistant to nearly any product, costs considerably less than metal seals to replace and can be changed without special tools.”

The compact sampler body made from a solid billet of 316L stainless steel is completely drainable and easily cleaned using CIP (clean-in-place) and SIP (sterilization-in-place) methods. Sentry IsoPure samplers are precision engineered to meet the exacting application demands of dairy, food, beverage, pharmaceutical, cosmetic and chemical processes.

The Sentry IsoPure samplers offer unparalleled flexibility with a wide variety of configurations, including several installation positions available. The samplers are available in manual and pneumatic versions. The manual actuation version with hand wheel incorporates a hand wheel stop with an inability to overtighten that contributes to its long life. A pneumatic activation version with a lever for manual operation is also available. All sampler bodies are available in one or two outlet ports and weld or clamp fitting connection models for pipe or tank applications.
