Product conveyed with hot air from a pressure blower heats up — which can cause evaporation and condensation (sweating) in storage — leading to caking, clumping, mold and mildew.

Xchanger’s D-Series heat exchangers solve the problem by cooling the conveying air and preventing the cycle of evaporation and condensation — without requiring costly dehumidification equipment. They’re easy to install, efficient and reliable.

D-Series unit pictured will be used in a clean environment. First it filters the air (green pleated filter).  Then it will cool and dehumidify 1,000 SCFM of air from ambient to 45° F using 39° propylene glycol. Then it reheats the air to 70° F using 90 PSIG steam, resulting in 70° F, 40% relative humidity air. In the final stage, air passes through a 99.97% efficient HEPA filter.  Filter is in its own housing box to allow faster access and change out.
