Filtered Containment Glove Boxes from Terra Universal
Fullerton, CA – Control and remove powders and aerosols with Terra’s ULPA-Filtered Containment Glove Box featuring adjustable airflow. This plastic glovebox comes with either two or four glove ports, accommodating one or two workers to complete critical applications within a controlled work space.
In the open-loop containment mode, make-up air is introduced into the enclosed box, passing through filters before reaching the glove box, and upon exit. The closed-loop isolation configuration blocks air from entering or leaving the glovebox, instead recirculating the inside air through the two ULPA filters. Easily transform the air direction by turning the valves. Open-loop airflow contains pollutants to protect users, and closed-loop isolation is ideal for isolating and protecting sensitive products.
A brushless, electrically-commutated motor provides clean, quiet and cool operation that does not generate contaminating particulates. Select glove boxes in made of cleanroom-compatible materials including economical acrylic, static-dissipative PVC, and damage-resistant polypropylene. A removable back panel can be used to place larger equipment or supplies inside the glove box.
