The Gericke Cone Nibbler is a new generation of size reduction equipment complementing the Nibbler range. The material is subjected to a combination of compression, impact and shear forces as the rotor arm moves over the stationary cone wall to achieve size reduction. Due to the extremely low residence time material has in the grinding zone, very low temperatures are generated during milling making the Cone Nibbler particularly effective on heat sensitive products. The Cone Nibbler offers effective size reduction on a wide range of food applications from spices, nuts, gum base products, dextrose, malt extracts, dehydrated vegetables, bread crumbs, granulated sugar, processed cereals, chocolate and many other heat sensitive, moist materials.
