The new S10 and S17 Sulfide Analytical Sensors from Electro-Chemical Devices (ECD) are designed to ensure that water has been adequately treated for sulfates and hydrogen sulfide. The S10 Sensor is an immersion or an insertion style sensor while the S17 is a valve retractable style sensor. Other features of the fully re-buildable sensors include:
- 316 stainless steel body that incorporates the sensing element, a temperature module and a signal conditioner with cabling.
- pIon electrode cartridge, which measures the activity of “free” sulfide ions in solution for concentrations of 0.01 to 32,000 ppm over a pH range of 11 to 14 pH and between 0 and 80º C.
- Replaceable electrode cartridges, which can be selected to measure pH, ORP, dissolved oxygen, conductivity and resistivity.
- Ability to integrate with ECD’s C22 Analyzer to provide automatic pH compensation for a total Sulfide measurement system.
