Terra Universal offers Sonifier Cell Disruptor
Fullerton, CA – Now available on Laboratory-Equipment's web site is the SFX150 Sonifier® Cell Disruptor, designed by Branson to prep low-volume samples ranging from 0.2 mL to 150 mL. Users can control sample processing time, temperature, amplitude (10 - 100%) or energy. A digital display allows intuitive push-button programming, and recall of up to 20 sample-prep methods.
SFX150 Sonifier is available with a standard converter for stack operation of long-duration samples, or a handheld converter for fast processing of single samples. The 40 kHz ultrasonic operation is quiet, and the digital display shows the application parameters so workers can track his/her progress. Samples can be processed using continuous or pulse ultrasonics.
Heat-sensitive samples are protected with user-specified temperature ranges using an optional probe. Included with the sonicator is a power supply, converter and 1/8th-inch tip. Other tips and accessories are available. The handheld converter has an ergonomic handle that is comfortable to hold, with a recessed power button to prevent accidental activation.
