Normally, it is believed that tubes cannot be bended or shaped in desired direction according to requirement due to their strong nature and physical properties adhered in them. Although, it is true to some extent but, this myth does not stand true when you understand the physical properties offered by corrugated tubing which plays a crucial role in that industries which deals in the production of gaseous and chemical products. An interesting fact about the corrugated tubing is that it can be changed into any shape with deep corners without leaving any impact on its inside diameter.

Developed from FEP or PFA element, these Teflon tubings are used as electronic or fluid pipeline in industries where robots are used for transmission of electronic wiring, disruptive chemicals and gaseous elements. Corrugated FEP tubing provides a complete protection to the cables that inserted inside them for performing various operations under high temperature.

The characteristic features of corrugated FEP tubing system can be referred below;

Heat and chemical resistance;
Works as a flexible pipelines that makes smooth flow of different elements without any disruption;
The tubing system is light weighted and easy to work with.
Capable of bearing extreme temperature up to 500 F.
USP Class IV Compliant for FDA.
Standard size varies from 1/4β€³ – 3/8β€³ – 1/2β€³ – 5/8β€³ – 3/4β€³ – 7/8β€³ – 1β€³ – 1 1/4β€³ – 1 1/2β€³ – 2β€³.
Can be compressed at the ratio of 2:1.

As referred above, corrugated tubes work as protection wall to the tubes offering them a type of cover known as toothing or sometimes even oil canning making the tube bending into desired shape. The tube covered under the tubing system is coated from the edges delivering excellent transparency to elements that are being moved from one point to another. The corrugated FEP tubing system is mainly used in automotive, chemical, aeronautic, medical and electrical industries. Installation of this teflon tubing system helps the flow of oil and fluids without affecting other mechanical items that are installed in different products developed by these industries.
