The FlexFoil™ Variable Geometry Control Surface applies principles of distributed compliance to adjust the camber and twist of control surfaces for aircraft, automobiles, wind turbines, ships and submarines. It uses the natural elasticity of aerospace grade materials to morph the external contour of the surface without compromising its strength and resilience, and do it continuously during use. The surface is very strong, able to generate lift and handle exceptional weight loads far stronger than any conventional foil design while still maintaining its unique flexibility.
