Microsoft agreed to buy the professional networking service company for $196 a share, or $26.2 billion.

Symantec Corp. up 91 cents to $18.21

The security software company said it will buy privately held Blue Coat Inc. for $4.65 billion.

Hanesbrands Inc., down 72 cents to $26.14

The clothing company said Chairman Richard Noll will give up his CEO title on Oct. 1.

Apple Inc., down $1.49 to $97.34

Apple stock fell as investors waited to see the results of its annual software conference, which started Monday.

Duke Energy Corp., up 37 to $81.61

Utility stocks avoided Monday's losses as investors bought the stocks while bond yields fell.

Eleven Biotherapeutics Inc., up 52 cents to $2.39
