It is rumored that this special flavor will be hitting grocery store shelves in the form of Oreos sometime in the near future.
Cotton Candy Oreos? That's right — images have been leaked by an Instagram user who goes by the name "cookie0man."
While Nabisco, the maker of Oreos, hasn't officially announced the new offering, The Verge reports that these Instagrams came from somewhere within the Nabisco supply chain.
The cookies are the same tan color as the Golden Oreos, but inside is a creamy filling of the popular cotton candy colors pink and blue.
Recently, Oreo has introduced Red Velvet and Watermelon cookies. And a S'mores flavor has also been a hot rumor around the campfire.
While the new year is still in its infancy, it's shaping up to be quite the time for cookie-enthusiasts (aka everyone).
