Emerson Process Management (Boulder, Co.) has added the Micro Motion ELITE CMFS sensor platform to its line of Coriolis flowmeters in the effort to bring more precise measurement to pipelines smaller than 2” or DN50. According to the company, the new sensor platform features better scalability and standardization with nine distinct sensor sizes in three compact footprints, from 1 to 50mm, in nominal diameter lines sizes (1/12” to 2”). Emerson also says these meters deliver ±0.05 percent liquid flow mass and volume accuracy and ±0.25 percent gas accuracy. Other features and benefits include:

  • High rangeability, with a turndown ratio up to 30:1, and a high degree of stability and sensitivity.
  • A robust design that can withstand challenging fluid conditions, such as changing densities, pressures, temperatures and viscosities.
  • The capacity to be used on a wide range of applications, such as chemical injection, production blending, process gas solutions, food and beverage, and more.
  • Stainless Steel 316L and nickel alloy C22 options with the capacity to handle up to 6,000 psi.
