MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) — New federal carbon dioxide emission rules for coal-fired power plants will be the focus of a national energy conference in Morgantown.

The third annual conference will be held Monday at the Erickson Alumni Center at West Virginia University.

U.S. Sen. Joe Manchin is scheduled to deliver the keynote address.

Experts from government, the private sector and environmental organizations are expected to attend the conference.
