Enidine Acquires Gas-Spring Company Ameritool

Acquisition of Ameritool will allow Enidine to expand market options.

Enidine Inc. said Thursday it acquired Ameritool Manufacturing LLC, a North American manufacturer of stainless steel gas springs and dampers.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“The Ameritool acquisition will let us expand our product offerings into our current markets as well as permit us to research new applications where gas springs would be the motion control solution,” said Mike Siino, Enidine's President. “Currently our products are focused mainly in the Industrial, Aerospace, Defense and Rail markets. With the addition of Stainless Steel Gas Springs to the Enidine product offering, we will now have an opportunity to expand into new markets.”

Enidine is a manufacturer of energy absorption, vibration isolation and motion control systems. The company is part of the Energy Absorption Group of International Motion Control.
