A German magazine said Monday that DaimlerChrylser AG is considering selling cars from the Chery Automobile Co. in the United States.
The magazine Der Spiegel, which did not cite any of its sources, said that DaimlerChrysler is in talks with the China-owned Chery about licensing its cars under the Dodge brand in the US. Chairman Dieter Zetsche said earlier this month that DaimlerChrysler was talking to possible Chinese partners about a lower-cost model for US markets, which could help meet demands for more fuel-efficient cars.DaimlerChrysler May Sell Chinese Cars In US
