During his trip to India, President Barack Obama announced a series of initiatives designed to generate $4B in trade and investments and create jobs in both the U.S. and India.

He announced that over the next two years, the Export-Import Bank will commit up to $1B in financing to support "Made in America" exports to India, supporting small and medium-sized businesses across India that will result in around $1B in loans in under-served markets.

The U.S. Trade and Development Agency will aim to leverage nearly $2B in investments in renewable energy in India. These initiatives are aimed at boosting a healthy economic partnership between the U.S. and India.
