BorgWarner Appoints New Executive Team

The automotive parts supplier named James Verrier, a 22-year company veteran, to the newly-created role of president and chief operating officer.

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) — BorgWarner Inc. announced several changes to its management team Tuesday, including a new chief financial officer and chief operating officer.

The automotive parts supplier said that it has appointed Ronald Hundzinski as chief financial officer. Hundzinski, 53, has been with the company nearly 10 years and worked most recently as its corporate treasurer.

Hundzinski is taking over the role from Robin Adams, who was promoted to vice chairman of the board of directors. Adams, 58, remains executive vice president and chief administrative officer of the company.

BorgWarner also named James Verrier, 49, to the newly-created role of president and chief operating officer. Verrier is a 22-year veteran of the company and worked most recently as president and general manager of BorgWarner Morse TEC division.

Shares of BorgWarner rose 68 cents to close at $85.99.
