PLYMOUTH, Mich. (AP) -- Auto parts maker Johnson Controls Inc. said Tuesday it completed the buyout of German seat frame and components maker C. Rob. Hammerstein Group for an undisclosed amount.
The company announced the buyout in December.
Johnson Controls had said that CRH would be integrated into the seating components unit that is part of its Automotive Experience business.
CRH, based in Solingen, Germany, specializes in the design, engineering and manufacturing of seat structures, tracks, height adjusters, power gearboxes and steering column adjusters, Johnson Controls' statement said.
Shares of Johnson Controls fell 11 cents to $38.28 in afternoon trading.
