FRANKFURT, Germany (AP) -- A state court in Nuremberg sentenced former Siemens AG executive Johannes Feldmayer to two years of probation and a fine for his involvement in corruption at Germany's largest industrial conglomerate.
Prosecutors had sought a three-and-a-half year prison sentence for Feldmayer.
The court also sought a six-year sentence for Wilhelm Schelsky, the former head of the independent AUB labor organization, but he received a sentence of four years and six months.
It was not immediately known if both men would appeal the decision.
