ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) -- H.B. Fuller Co. said Tuesday that it has purchased an adhesive business in Egypt.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed
The acquisition of Egymelt, a manufacturer and marketer of hot melt and specialty water-based adhesives headquartered in Cairo, Egypt, expands the Minnesota-based company's presence overseas.
Under the terms of the deal, H.B. Fuller acquired the principle assets of the company, including a manufacturing facility, equipment and inventory.
Egymelt employs 21 people and had net revenue in 2007 of approximately $4 million, according to H.B. Fuller.
Shares of H.B. Fuller rose 46 cents to $26.53 in midday trading.
